The 4 Best Trampolines for Small Yards (2024)

When looking for the best trampoline for small yards, there’s a lot to consider.

Chief among them? Size.

You must find a trampoline that will safely fit in your yard and give your kids enough room to jump.

As a trampoline manufacturer for over 20 years, we leaned on our expertise to round up the four best trampolines for small yards in Canada this year (results below!).

4 Best Trampolines for Small Yards (Chosen By Experts)

To compile this list, we focused on trampolines that are 6-8 ft in diameter from the biggest trampoline brands in the industry.

Below you will find two premium and two affordable trampolines for small yards.

These trampolines would be best for ages 6-12, depending on your child’s size.

This was an objective analysis, and in full transparency, we included two of our Springfree Trampolines as the premium options.

Let’s get to it!

1. Springfree Mini Round 6 ft Trampoline

  • Frame is galvanized and triple-layer rust-protected.
  • 10-year warranty on all trampoline parts – the only company to offer this. You can expect this trampoline to last 10+ years with reasonable use.
  • For a 6 ft trampoline, the Mini Round offers plenty of room to jump – 30 square feet.

  • Provides a soft, smooth bounce while rivalling a spring trampoline’s bounce height.
  • Solid 175-pound weight limit for a 6 ft trampoline.
  • Modern design that integrates seamlessly with many types of landscaping.

  • Assembly might be more tedious than other 6-foot trampolines, especially inserting the mat rods. Professional assembly is available for $399, or you can use the free BILT App if self-assembling.
  • Initial cost is high ($999) relative to other small trampolines but will pay off for long-term trampoline buyers.

Grades:

  • Safety features– 6/10
  • Trampoline quality and durability– 7/10
  • Size and trampoline weight limit– 5/10
  • Trampoline design– 8/10
  • Trampoline warranty– 7/10
  • User reviews– 4.5/5 (Walmart, 15 reviews)
  • Trampoline cost– 9/10

Pros:

  • Decent-quality small trampoline for the price ($144.99).
  • Galvanized steel frame is warranted for 7 years, and the jump mat is warranted for 3 years, which is above average for this trampoline size.
  • Poles are curved and padded, which helps protect wayward jumpers.
  • Enclosure ring at the top of the net should help prevent it from sagging.
  • Springs are outside the net.
  • Legs are double-welded and padded to help reinforce joints and prevent bending. They’re also in a “W” shape, which should help with stability.
  • Weighs only 50 pounds, so it’s easily moveable for most.
  • The Mini Flash Light Zone is a nice addition.

Cons:

  • Besides the frame and net, the rest of the trampoline is only warranted for one year, which means you might need to replace key parts like the net fairly quickly.
  • Likely will need to store the trampoline during heavy storms because of its lighter weight.

*No trampoline weight limit was found for this product. A 7 ft Bounce Pro Trampoline listed on Walmart had a maximum single-jumper weight limit of 100 pounds, which could mean this model is equal or less, which could be considered a con. This would need to be verified at purchase, however.

  • Spring padding is vinyl-coated and UV-resistant.
  • Single-jumper weight capacity of 175 pounds is good for an 8 ft trampoline.
